City Covenant Church Tutoring

Dates: Mondays, beginning September 25, 2023
Time: Meet at Faith Covenant at 4:30 to carpool, return by 7:00 each Monday during the school year.
Location: City Covenant Church, Detroit

Tutoring with the children at City Covenant starts the week of September 25! For the 11th year, Faith tutors will drive to City Cov each Monday night to help elementary school students with their homework, read books, practice math, and play games. All materials are provided.

Anyone in 7th grade through adults is able to be a tutor! Youth need a transportation permission form signed and on file with FCC. Adults should have child protection paperwork on file with Faith, or be willing to complete it.

This is an amazing opportunity to build relationships with the children at City Cov, as well as with fellow tutors (the drive is always a fun time)!

If you are not sure, you can come once or twice to see if it’s a good fit.
